ABOUT

The Clermont Lantern launched in the 1970s as a service of Clermont College (now University of Cincinnati - Clermont). It printed until 2012 before shifting focus to a digital product for the campus community.

In 2026, The Clermont Lantern has been revived to bring news, information, features, and resources to all Clermont County residents. The County is the third fastest-growing in Greater Cincinnati and an attractive place to live, work, and play.

WHO WE ARE

Still a service of UC Clermont, The Clermont Lantern features the work from a team of contributors - both professional and student. This outlet is a training ground for students in skills related to writing, civics, journalism, storytelling, and emerging media.
